Thy Kingdom Come

Topic: Pastor Sydney Igbokwe

Text:  Luke 11:1- 3

As we continue in unveiling the Lord’s prayer we observed that after establishing a relationship with the Father which is central to prayer, then we see purpose come into play which is that the Kingdom be established and not only being established but that we will align to the will of the Father, a place of submission and surrender to his desires and counsel over our lives. So we cab say three things occur within this prayer line

  1. The Kingdom Come– Establishing the Kingdom Culture on earth
  2. The Will be done- Total submission to the will of the Father and giving way to allow Him do what he intends to do
  3. As it is in Heaven– Aligning ourselves to

To further understand this line in Prayer we must first understand what the Kingdom of God is. A kingdom is a realm or territory where a King’s will and authority presides over. A kingdom is a governing impact of a king’s will over a territory or domain; his influence over a people.
