Topic: Beyond the Veil – Resurrection Power
Text: 2 Corinthians 3:18 Philippians 3:10, Mathew 27:50-52
In this season of Easter, it a time to reflect on what Jesus Christ did for Humanity. How his love was expressed as he offered himself on the cross – The Roman Death applied for dissident and criminals. The Bible says he was made a curse for our behalf. The sacrifice made for our exchange, The Lamb of God who took away our sins. One of the events we see happening during these trying season of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the event in the temple.
As Jesus hanged on the Cross-, between two thieves in pain and travail for Humanity suddenly Scripture tell us in Mathew 27:50,” Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;”
This represented a turning of the scale, a shift into a new season.
The Veil represented a covering, a shield from the Holy of Holies. The death of Jesus released man into direct Access. The Price had been paid. His blood had become the propitiation for our sin. This Singular act made Jesus our High Priest Hebrew 6:20. The Holy place had the Mercy seat and once every year the High Priest would go in not without blood- Hebrew 9:6-8. The death of Jesus became a game changer. A new and more perfect Tabernacle not made by hands or sacrifices of bulls and goats but by His Blood, He entered once and for all and obtained redemption.
We had complete ACCESS to God, Praise the Lord, Access to His mercy and Grace, to His Glorious presence, Access to Resurrection Power. Our Spirit Man comes ALIVE
AT THE CROSS
- It is Finished- John 19:30 Jesus’s assignment
- The Veil is torn in two- Access to the Holy Place
- The Price – The Blood of Jesus Hebrew 9:12
- The Exchange is done- The Lamb for sacrifice Jesus
- Redemption obtained
- The Grave is opened, death is defeated
- Resurrection power released
What Happened Beyond the Veil – Hebrew 9:6-18
- An emergence of a New tabernacle
- One Price paid for all
- Access to the Holy of Holies (the Presence of God)- Hebrew 10:9-10
- The Paradigm Shifts- God tabernacles in the heart of Men
- The Blood to speak on our behalf
- Redemption Package for us
- Eternal Inheritance obtained
- Access to Mercy and Grace- Hebrew 4:16
- Resurrection Power was activated
- The Name of Jesus exalted – Philippians 2:9, Ephesians 1:20
Beyond the veil is that God has liberated us from the curse of the law, grace has come through. The Spirit of God brings liberty and we can begin to behold the Lord in his fullness from glory to glory and we become changed into His image.- 2 Corinthians 3:18
Paul therefore declared that I may know and the power of His resurrection. Beyond the veil dominion and power was released to as many that believe in Him and accept His redemption package for us.
Prayers
- I affirm the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ
- I affirm over my life the redemption package obtained for me
- I receive grace and Mercy by the Blood of Jesus Christ
- I receive ad walk in resurrection power
- I receive and access the Presence of God daily in Worship and prayer
- Every part of my life that has been dead or in the grave comes Alive
