Text: Nehemiah 8:10
Strength is released when we are Joyful; The Joy of the Lord is our strength. The source of Joy in our lives only comes from the Lord Jesus Christ. Through the Holy Spirit manifesting in our lives we experience the fruit of Joy. This whole experience starts from our complete surrender to the gift f salvation that Jesus Christ offers. Habakkuk 3:18. As established, Joy is a fruit of the Spirit. Therefore, when the Holy Spirit is fully resident in and upon us, the manifestation of Joy in our Lives becomes the new normal.
Situations around us many not always seen to be perfect or as desired. We face challenges in Life as humans, the world around us may be going off at a tangent. Sometime s we may not be able to put a finger on our current circumstances. It is at these times that our source of strength will come from the Joy of the Lord. The Joy that emanates from the Spirit of grace in our lives.
As we do life, our hope, assurance and steadfast anchor is that gift of Joy we can draw strength for living, capacity to keep going, seeing Jesus in every part of our lives knowing He is behind the scenes working for our good.

How do you fuel the Joy of the Lord
- Enter into His Presence- Psalm 16:11, Psalm 27:6, Acts 2:28
- Find the Word of God- Jeremiah 15:16
- Do Justice- Proverbs 21:15
- Do Good/Righteousness – Ecclesiastics 2:26
- Seek the Kingdom – Mathew 13:44
- Act in Faithfulness – Mathew 25:21
Prayer:
- Lord may I come into the Joy of the Lord
- May I begin to experience and encounter the fullness of Joy in my Journey with Christ
- Lord Turn every sorrow and mourning into Joy in my Life
