Statement Of Faith

We Believe In:

GOD THE FATHER 
Creator of Heaven and Earth, who made man in His own image and likeness. Gen 1:1, Gen 1:27

JESUS CHRIST 
The only begotten Son of God the Father. (John 1:14-18, John 3:16)

THE HOLY SPIRIT
The comforter and teacher of all things who dwells within us, uniting us to Jesus Christ. (Gen 1:2, Acts1: 8,John 14:26)

TRINITY
We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy. 1JOHN 5:1-7

THE DEATH AND RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST  
That Jesus Christ died on the cross at Calvary for the sins of mankind. He rose from the Dead in His glorified body on the third day, and He ascended into heaven where He is seated at the right hand of God the Father.(1 Corinthians 15;3, 1 Peter2:21-24 )

 THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST  
Which was shed for us at Calvary. It cleanses us of all sin and grants us access into the presence of God. (Hebrew 12:24; Hebrew 10:19; 1Peter 1:2; 1 John 1:7)

SALVATION
It is a gift from God through grace and faith in Christ Jesus. That all who believe in the name of Jesus Christ may be saved by turning from sin to repentance and are born again by the Holy Spirit through trusting in His death and resurrection. (Acts 4:10-12, John 3:16)

THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT 
Is available to all who believe in Jesus Christ, and is evidenced by the gift of speaking in tongues.( Acts 1:8, Acts 2:1-4)

WATER BAPTISM 
By immersion in water as Jesus Christ was baptized. (Colossians 2:12; Matthew 3: 13-16; Romans 6:4)

SANCTIFICATION
Separation from the world unto God – a life of true holiness. (1Corinthinas 1:30; 2 Thessalonians 2:13;1 Thessalonians 4:3)

HEAVEN AND HELL
The reality of the spiritual realm, angels and demons; heaven and hell; the existence of the Devil; and God’s judgment destining him and his fallen angels to eternal consignment in the Lake of Fire. We believe in the eternal life of believers and eternal separation from God for unbelievers. (Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20:14-15)(John 5:24; John 3:16,36); (Mark 9:43-48; 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9; Revelation 20:10-15)

THE SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST 
That Jesus Christ will come again to earth in glory and in power. Those dead in Christ will rise first and those alive in Christ will be in the presence of God for eternity. (Acts 1:9-11; John 14:3, I Thessalonians. 4:15-17; I Corinthians. 15:51-52; Matthew. 24:40-44)

THE HOLY BIBLE
Is the infallible and authoritative Word of God, given directly to all men and women for salvation. We believe that the Bible is God’s word to us and is accurate, applicable and the sole and final authority for all matters of faith and conduct We believe that the entire Scripture, both Old and New Testament are written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit – II Tim. 3:16-17

THE MANDATE 
That man was created in the image and likeness of God to be fruitful, to multiply, to replenish the earth, to subdue it, and to have dominion over it. ( Gen 1:28)

MARRIAGE
That marriage according to Scripture is between a man and a woman; that a man and woman are joined to become one flesh. and that all sex is reserved for marriage as God intended it. Gen 2:24
